学生学校评价
This school has gone seriously downhill in the past 5 years — tread VERY carefully before signing anything! The campus is still decent and huge (they even own the land next to Nord Anglia). Some Chinese and Western colleagues are genuinely nice, and I always enjoyed the students. But the Chinese owners and management have made one terrible decision after another.Principal Liu is terrible at reading people — he fires or alienates his best, most loyal teachers and denies them the benefits they earned. That’s led to lawsuits and a ton of bad publicity. The other principal, Jimmy, is a nice guy but completely spineless and does nothing while problems keep getting worse. The absolute worst part? HR. They love making you sign shady papers that “voluntarily” give up your severance pay. Mess up once and they deduct thousands of RMB. Many teachers were forced to either lose their visa or kiss goodbye to tens of thousands in severance. The owner even bragged, “In my 20 years here, we’ve never paid a teacher severance. “save money at all costs” move.A lot of us wanted to stay here long-term, but all that trust has been completely destroyed.Final advice: Never sign anything HR gives you. Get a good lawyer first. Don’t make the same mistake the rest of us did — Chinese labor law is there to protect you, don’t hand your rights away on a piece of paper If you actually want to teach somewhere you’re respected… think twice (or three times) before coming here!
