Despite Nord Anglia Education’s (NAE) strong marketing, BSG is in sharp decline under Principal Kerry Millar. A high-achieving school with strong community roots has been eroded by incompetent, defensive leadership. Key Issues: Detached Leadership: Principal Millar operates in isolation, relying on subjective assumptions rather than facts, operational frameworks, or direct engagement with staff and students. Fear & Retaliation: Experienced educators who offer constructive feedback are targeted or replaced. High turnover is weaponized, creating a punitive, high-anxiety environment. Favoritism & Gaslighting: Preferred staff receive unearned promotions and protection, while high-performing teachers are ignored. Leadership routinely shifts blame onto staff when operational failures are raised. Disorganization & Poor Communication: Staff face prolonged delays and uncertainty regarding contract renewals and job security due to poor planning and lack of empathy. Institutional Inaction: Regional and Central HR have ignored repeated escalations, leaving the principal unchecked. Verdict: NAE must intervene to address the lack of vision and management at BSG. Prospective staff and families should exercise extreme caution before committing to the school under its current leadership.
