Hey everyone, sharing an honest warning about the current working conditions at SCIE. While the students remain excellent, the school's rapid expansion has led to a total collapse in leadership quality and staff morale. Before signing a contract, here is what’s actually happening: Campus Surveillance: Teacher housing is inside the school perimeter and surrounded by cameras. The boundary between personal life and work is completely gone, creating a constant sense of 24/7 surveillance. Weaponized HR & Housing: Management uses HR and accommodation to intimidate staff. Raise a concern, and you will face sudden "observations," petty warnings, unexplained pay deductions, or manufactured housing deposit issues. Authoritarian Leadership: Decisions are top-down and dissent is treated as a threat. Long-serving staff—including a deputy principal and heads of faculty—have been abruptly removed without dignity. Leadership behaves aggressively and is accountable to no one. High Turnover: Turn-over is spiraling. Experienced teachers are breaking contracts mid-year, new hires are burning out, and trust is at zero. The priority here is control and image management, not education. The Verdict: SCIE is riding on its past reputation, but the internal culture is toxic. If you value your privacy, mental health, and professional dignity, avoid this place.
