Red Flag & Warning! Think Twice Before Joining This Famous International School (GUIS/NCPA/ULC)! I know this site is mainly for students, but I just have to get it out there. Fellow educators, please keep your eyes wide open when job hunting! Writing this purely to save others from falling into the same trap. I have to expose the grim reality behind this shiny facade of a school (NCPA & ULC High School Division). To sum up the school right now in one sentence: The management is chaotic, the culture is toxic, there is zero job security, and teachers are constantly in survival mode. 1️⃣ A Workplace Nightmare: Revolving-Door Leadership Constant Leadership Shuffles: Three principals in three years. Senior management changes like a carousel; you never know who will be in charge tomorrow. At ULC, staff were even left in a bizarre information vacuum for weeks, having no idea who was actually leading. Surveillance Over Support: Leadership is completely disconnected from clas.sroom reality. They’ve weaponized constant observations ("learning walks") to micromanage staff. Even more absurdly, the HR Director was appointed as a second deputy head—a non-educator now pacing the corridors acting as a literal hall monitor. A Culture of Compliance: If you dare to speak up or criticize, you either don't get renewed or you get placed under intense scrutiny. Whole-staff meetings feel like an execution chamber; with no clear agendas, teachers live in constant fear that they are being called in just to be fired. 2️⃣ Educational Breakdown: Students are "Untouchable" Discipline is Practically Dead: Students are heavily addicted to their devices. Because dormitory regulation is non-existent, students stay up all night and spend the day fast asleep in clas.srooms and the coffee shop—an embarras.sing sight even for pas.sing parents. Students Skip, Teachers Pay: When students fail at the end of the year due to extreme chronic absences, leadership doesn't fix the root cause. Instead, they force teachers to generate endless paperwork to figure out the bare minimum needed to pas.s them. Teachers have no authority; if a student complains, the teacher is instantly thrown under the bus. 3️⃣ Relentless Mismanagement & Disrespect Shut Down Without Warning: When the preschool and elementary sections closed, management allegedly withheld the information until the last minute. This left staff families completely stranded without schooling for their own kids, and many teachers missed the peak recruitment window, leaving them abruptly unemployed. Image Over Substance: Budgets for actual department resources are tightly restricted, yet money magically appears for vanity projects—like replacing laptops for staff who already had perfectly working devices. 📢 The Ultimate Verdict Any lingering optimism about the two divisions merging into "one great school" is officially dead. The remaining teachers are simply fighting to survive day-to-day, treated as nothing more than replaceable cogs in a machine. If you value professional dignity, stability, a fair environment, and your mental health... Take my advice: Run. DO NOT COME.

纯纯是因为憋了一整年的内伤，实在忍不住来给各位避个雷。如果你们最近在刷隔壁ULC校区的瓜，那我必须温馨提示：NCPA高中部这边也没好到哪去，甚至能跟他们拼个高下。 新来的HS校长，那管理水平只能用“离谱”两个字来形容。如果非要给他的领导风格画个画像，那就是：一整个大写的“混乱、迷茫、外加稀里糊涂”！ 学校现在基本处于无政府状态： 学生日常把“逃课”当成必修课。 旷课？没人管。 奇装异服？没人理。 违纪？直接无视。 学校对这些违规行为的约束力直接挂零。 最让人吐血的是，老师成了最惨的接盘侠。眼看快到学年末了，一堆学生因为旷课太多直接挂科。学校不考虑怎么去解决“学生不来上课”这个根本问题，反而开始折磨老师，天天催着老师去补齐各种繁琐的证明文档，就为了研究“到底怎么做才能给这些旷课大王放水，让他们卡着最低标准及格”。 更绝的在后面！上周五，眼看这学期就剩最后4周了，全校老师突然被叫去开教职工大会。你敢信？他们竟然要在这种时候重新讨论新课程表的安排……
